***Please note new legislation!
California state legislature has passed a bill that will commence September
1, 2009. This bill provides that the certification of massage
professionals will be done by a massage therapy organization, now currently
in the process of being established. The state of California has directed
those currently in practice to voluntarily acquire a minimum of 250
hours of professional training from approved schools such as ourselves by
2011. State certification regulations will be non-voluntary in 2012, and
will require 500 hours by 2015.
The Mendocino School of Holistic Massage & Advanced Healing Arts offers
a 250 hour Advanced Holistic Massage Certification Program to assist you in
attaining these additional hours conveniently and at very reasonable
tuition costs.
